The Space Project

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is making a real difference to people and businesses in the Northwest. With €755 million invested between 2007 and 2013, ERDF is enhancing the competitiveness of the region’s economy by supporting growth in enterprise and employment.

ERDF in the Northwest is managed by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA). For further information please click here.

Manchester City Council (MCC)

The Sharp Project’s objectives strictly adhere to the City of Manchester’s economic growth strategy.

This project is part of Manchester City Council’s on-going commitment to creative industries. The City Council was aware that investment must be made in improving the infrastructure available to the City Region’s digital industry, covering both ends of the marketplace from high-end, large scale broadcast studios, to lower-end, high volume facilities.

Homes & Communities Agency (HCA)

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is the single, national housing and regeneration delivery agency for England, and the Regulator of Social Housing Providers. Through the Economic Assets Programme, which aims to support local economic growth and regeneration for local communities, HCA funding of £500,000 has been provided for enabling works at The Space Project
